I am highly passionate about my work, I have always been attracted to science and also to arts in my free time, that is why I consciously chose to work with Smile Design.

Besides I have a very strong sense of compassion and I follow a path of conscious self-development in my personal and professional life.

Since 2016 I started working in Spain, in different private clinics in Mallorca and Barcelona.

The knowledge that I have gained through these years and the passion for my work led to opening my own dental practice in Barcelona in 2019.

Today I am the Head of SMITA – a very successful Advanced Smile Design Center in Barcelona where we have reinvented conventional dentistry and created a safe and trustworthy space for both – our team and patients.

Sheila is the Assistant Director at SMITA and her key role is patient coordination, clinical organization, and decision-making. With a strong focus on communication and efficiency, she ensures that every patient receives personalized attention and that the clinic’s daily operations run smoothly.

Sheila has more than 15 years of experience in the dental sector that gives her a wide understanding of patients’ needs and the importance of her role. She is incredibly passionate about her job and is a brilliant professional.

She is a highly specialized oral hygienist with lots of experience in prevention of oral diseases, professional hygiene and different techniques of teeth whitening.

Sheila is a person who will make you feel as good as possible during any procedure. She is very mindful about making your experience smooth and will make sure that you develop the best skills to take care of your smile. Following her tips you will definitely learn how to keep your smile healthy and shiny and also reduce the number of your appointments with a dentist.

After graduating in Dentistry in Barcelona and 2 years working as a general dentist, Dr. Joan Restrepo decided to specialize in Orthdontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and went to Madrid to do a 3 year full-time Masters degree in the subject.

Dr Joan is very detail oriented, always works in a calm and mindful manner providing a safe environment to his patients. He believes that the core of a successful treatment is not only his wide knowledge but also a clear communication and smooth collaboration between him and his patients which leads to mutual understanding throughout the treatment.

Dr. Sara Sardañés is a specialist in advanced oral surgery and implantology, renowned for her innovative approach and constant professional development.

She is specialized in bone regeneration and mucogingival surgery, areas requiring great technical precision. Her clinical experience and academic training include a Master’s degree in Medicine, Surgery, and Oral Implantology and a Master’s Degree in Dentistry from the University of Barcelona, ​​as well as a specialization in Madrid.

She is also an adjunct professor for the Master’s degree at the University of Barcelona. Her skill and commitment to excellence ensure exceptional results in the surgical procedures she performs.

Dr. Eliana Quintela is a highly qualified dentist specializing in endodontics.

She has a solid academic background and a constant commitment to her development, incorporating the most advanced and innovative techniques in endodontics.

She has complemented her training with additional high-level studies, such as an intensive course in Fixed Prosthetics at the Catalan Society of Dentistry and Stomatology (SCOE) in Barcelona and a course on posterior restorations, completed at the Autran Dental Academy in Madrid in 2023. This allows her to offer her patients highest quality treatments with a precise and personalized approach.

Dr. Quintela’s dedication to modern dentistry and constant updating of her knowledge have positioned her as a leading professional in her field, providing her patients with the most effective and advanced solutions for the care and maintenance of their dental health.

Dr. Teresa Vives Bonet is a dentist with more than 20 years of experience, passionate about periodontics and fully committed to the overall well-being of her patients. She graduated in Dentistry from the University of Barcelona and obtained a Master’s degree in Periodontics from the International University of Catalonia.

She has built her career in prestigious clinics in Barcelona and served as an Associate Professor in the Master’s Program in Periodontics at the International University of Catalonia, which has given her a broad and up-to-date perspective on the specialty.

Her clinical practice focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal diseases, as well as tissue regeneration and the maintenance of peri-implant health. With continuous training in the most innovative techniques, Dr. Teresa Vives Bonet provides personalized, minimally invasive treatments aimed at improving both the health and the aesthetics of the smile.

She is recognized for her approachable manner, her ability to work in a team, and her unwavering dedication to offering each patient advanced, effective solutions tailored to their needs – always with the goal of enhancing their quality of life.

Passionate about both technical and clinical dentistry, Vladyslav combines dual training in prosthetics and oral hygiene with solid clinical experience in Barcelona, covering dental laboratories and multidisciplinary clinics.

His work includes preparing milled structures for ceramics, performing professional cleanings, intraoral scanning, 3D impressions, model casting, and sterilization procedures. In addition, he manages schedules, coordinates materials, and maintains empathetic, close communication with patients, always prioritizing their comfort and peace of mind.

Accustomed to working within digital and collaborative standards, Vladyslav brings initiative, team spirit, and a commitment to continuous improvement. His professional approach is based on technical excellence and human care, helping to build a trustworthy environment for both colleagues and patients receiving treatment.
