Do composite veneers ruin your teeth?

The composite is biocompatible, harmless to your teeth, it does not damage them. Normally the preparation of the teeth is minimally invasive, which means that the treatment is not aggressive at all. Most of the time composite veneers strengthen the structure of your teeth.

How fast can I get it done?

Composite veneers can be done in a one-appointment. The length of the appointment depends on how many teeth you want to restore. We normally calculate 1 hour per tooth. The most regular case is to restore 6 front upper or lower teeth - it takes around 6 hours.

How long do composite veneers last?

Composite is a strong and very aesthetic material, but it requires some maintenance. You need to have excellent oral hygiene and we recommend you polish your veneers once a year at least to keep them shiny. In case of chipping it is very easy to fix it in one appointment. Normally we recommend changing veneers in 7-10 years.

Once you and your dentist are satisfied with the shape and the color of porcelain veneers, they are cemented permanently. In case of chipping or cracking - porcelain veneer cannot be fixed, it has to be removed by drilling and a new veneer has to be placed.
